Well we've been back in the office for nearly a month now. Had a good time over the summer break, went on a ride on my bike while the wife was overseas, and took many photos to add to my growing collection. I have to say though, I'm still waiting for the summer heat to hit, was pretty cold walking through High Street in the city last week.

Started back a week earlier than we normally would have because we've got some interesting opportunities on-the-go. We have a joint venture/master franchise opportunity looking to enter both the New Zealand and Australian markets. It’s a company called Fresh Healthy Vending and they have pioneered the concept of healthy vending machines with fresh and tasty snacks. If you wanted any more information on this exciting opportunity check it out here. It’s definitely something that I feel strongly about since owning a gym and leading a healthier lifestyle. Would be great to see some healthy alternatives to the normal machines stocking chocolate bars and chips.

We are working with Global Franchise Partners in Australia, where I am now the Head of Global Sales. Skype makes working in separate countries a lot easier and cheaper than calling a mobile.

Finally making some progress with clearing out the equipment in the gym. We only have two or three more machines to go. Realised it’s going to be quite a big project to get it ready for someone to lease, but what a relief that will be once it’s done.
