The bulk of the Christmas holiday season is behind us and Auckland traffic has returned to normal levels. All in all though everyone I have spoken to so far in 2013 seems positively upbeat. This time last year everyone was bemoaning the fact that there hadn't been any sun at all in January and that their holidays were over for the year.

Can’t believe that it is Mid-November already which means the Christmas break will soon be upon us. I think the air temperature for November is part of the problem as well. How can it be this cold this late in the year? I have no idea but Auckland certainly seems to have later summers and lots more wind than I ever remembered growing up. There must be something to this climate change malarkey.
